Takuya Misawa's debut feature pays tribute to Yasujiro Ozu with an intricate comic-drama set in a Japanese coastal resort. Chigasaki Story revolves around a series of budding and long-buried romances among guests staying at the same guesthouse where Ozu conceived two of his greatest works, Tokyo Story and Late Spring.
